Directions
Getting lost before a therapy session is not ideal! We want your journey here to be smooth, not overwhelming. We are conveniently located in the Cahaba Building in the Entertainment District of downtown Trussville. This is the big red brick building across from the Three Eared Rabbit.
The parking lot is behind the building. Off Main street, turn into the Half Shell Oyster House parking lot (other entrances are limited by construction) and then take a right onto Linden Street. The Cahaba Building parking lot will be on your right. The doors at the back of the building are usually unlocked between 8AM and 5PM. If locked, call us at 205-210-8414. Once you get in, walk up the stairs (or there is an elevator to be used by disabled persons to your right). Once you reach the top of the stairs, walk down the hallway and have a seat in one of the comfy chairs on the second floor by the windows. We will be out to bring you back at your appointment time. You'll walk by our office (room 207), if the sign says "Please knock" or the door is open, that means we are ready for you! Don't be shy. If the sign says "Session in Progress," just hang out in one those chairs by the windo and we will be with you soon.
This location is convenient to downtown Birmingham (20-30 minutes), Irondale (15 minutes), Moody (15 minutes), Springville (20 minutes), Odenville (30 minute), Leeds (20 minutes), and other surrounding areas. Although the building is a co-working space, it is a quiet and private space. Our office is a private, calm space located on the second floor. Note for those who are easily overstimulated: we use low light in our office (lamps) and sound machines to drown out any background noise and provide you more privacy. We have water, chocolate, and snacks. Let us know how we can help you be comfortable during your time with us.

We recommend grabbing some lunch at the Entertainment District or a coffee at Maple Avenue Coffee while you are in the area.

If you get lost: Call us at 205-210-8414. We've been there. Getting lost is not fun! We'll talk you through it.

Too far away or have a tight schedule? Consider scheduling a virtual session with us. If you haven't had virtual therapy before, or have had bad experiences with it, give us a try for one session. We utilize video (not audio only) to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Research shows that most people experience the same benefits from virtual sessions as in-person sessions. Get comfortable, reduce any distractions (e.g., TV), and meet us online.
