Evidence-Based Telepsychology Across State Lines

As a PSYPACT-authorized psychologist, I am legally able to provide secure, high-quality online therapy to clients in participating PSYPACT states. If you live within a PSYPACT state, you can work with me through HIPAA-compliant telepsychology, without traveling or changing providers.

PSYPACT expands access to specialized care, allowing you to receive consistent therapy and support, no matter where life takes you.

What Is PSYPACT?

PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) is an interstate agreement that allows licensed psychologists to provide telehealth services across state lines (in 43 states, see the map above). If your state participates, you can receive therapy from a PSYPACT-authorized psychologist, Dr. Caitlin Clevenger.

Benefits of PSYPACT teletherapy include:

  • Access to specialized care, even if providers are limited in your area

  • Flexibility if you travel frequently for work (most states require you to be in the state for services) or need to relocate

  • Seamless continuation of treatment without interruption

  • Convenience of therapy from home, work, or while on the go

Who Dr. Caitlin Clevenger, PSYPACT-Authorized, Works With:

Dr. C specializes in helping high-functioning, high-achieving adults who are navigating big life changes and want to gain more clarity about their identity, values, and life direction. She utilizes psychodynamic and ACT-oriented treatment for people navigating complex internal pressures, identity concerns, and perfectionism.

She often finds herself working with:

  • Professionals and graduate students

  • Attorneys, physicians, nurses, psychologists, and therapists

  • LGBTQIA+ individuals

  • People experiencing anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, or chronic self-criticism

  • Adults with ADHD, OCPD traits, or patterns of overcontrol

  • Individuals seeking deeper insight, emotional growth, and lasting change rather than just symptom relief

Therapy Modalities Offered via Telehealth

Dr. C's virtual therapy sessions and assessment services are designed to be just as meaningful, relational, and effective as in-person therapy. Specialized services include:

  • A psychological evaluation to gain diagnostic clarity and specify treatment targets

  • Psychodynamic therapy

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

  • Therapy for perfectionism and overcontrol

  • Neurodivergent-affirming therapy for individuals with ADHD and Level 1 Autism

  • Identity exploration and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, helping people "come out" in mid-to-late life

  • Treatment for anxiety, stress, and burnout

Dr. C aims to make therapy supportive and accessible—without sacrificing clinical depth.

How Online Therapy Works

  1. Schedule a consultation to ensure we’re a good fit

  2. Confirm your state of residence is PSYPACT-eligible (see map above)

  3. Meet virtually through a secure, encrypted telehealth platform (we take care of that for you)

  4. Engage in meaningful, collaborative therapy tailored to your needs

Dr. C recommends a psychological evaluation to start the process and develop an in-depth treatment plan. This will include recommendations for therapy frequency and duration. Most clients meet weekly or biweekly for 50-minute sessions for at least 20 sessions.
